The work is in a way a continuation of the http://beforeandafter.mi2.hr' project that deals with shopping and the way in which we are integrated in the consumer society. Although we are aware of and critical towards mechanisms that create artificial needs, we participate in the consumer game actively and voluntarily. We develop private consumer habits, become emotionally attached to certain bought objects, and introduce them into our homes and everyday lives. Authors of this project critically focus on the process of spending and buying, but at the same time admit their own consumer role in the examples of symbiotic coexistence of themselves and 'their' objects, to which they attribute additional value in acknowledging their 'history'.
