Space installation Rest yourself is composed of ten terms - symbols that are rhythmically repeated on park benches creating a net through city parks. The history of symbols confirms that any object can acquire symbolic value, no matter whether it is natural, abstract or synthesised out of those elements. The object here represents not only a being or a thing but also a tendency, an occupation with a thought, a dream, a system of privileges, the usual terminology... The symbol has pedagogic and even therapeutic function - it gives one a feeling of, if not identification with, at least participation in a supernatural force.
