If we accept the retreating of poetry into silence and intimacy amidst clamorous spectacle, that doesn't entail expelling it from public city spaces. 
Because communal city spaces can also be spaces of intimacy and privacy, spaces of irreducible personal experience, spaces of poetry. This work, the result of collaboration between UrbanFestival and the association Brutal (*the most significant project by Brutal - association for propagating culture and art is the International festival of contemporary poetry), can be described as imprinting an anthology of contemporary Croatian poetry into the tissue of the city. Following no specific literary-historical criteria, we selected a couple of poems dear to us and we offer them to all passers-by to read. Our intention is not so much to increase the visibility and loudness of poetry, as to show that public city spaces can be spaces of silence, intimacy, and poetry.
